The Rebecca Cassandra Shaw Tudor Cross-stitch Collection is a series

of twelve gilt-framed, museum-glass-encased, cross-stitched portraits and

scenes of Tudor Royalty. The labour of love and patience needed to create this

unique collection of twelve pieces has taken twelve years to complete and is

comprised of over a million stitches.

Rebecca’s collection represents the cream of images of Royalty in the

Tudor family, portrayed by the best contemporary painters. These images,

from half a millennium ago, have been recreated in a unique visual artform that

brings to life these well-known personalities.
